Health & Safety
Surrey Schools strives to achieve standards of occupational health and safety that will provide a safe and healthy workplace in order to minimize the risk of injury and disease to its employees, students and contractors.
The Surrey Board of Education supports Return to Work and Selective/Light Duty Programs in order to keep employees connected to the workplace and to support them in their rehabilitation efforts to return to their pre-injury occupation in the shortest possible time.
The Health & Safety pages on this website are highly comprehensive and offer information on safety practices, training and education opportunities, forms and checklists, district- and site-based committees and the safety responsibilities of contractors.
Employee Communication
Staff Matters is the district's quarterly employee newsletter produced by the Communication Services department and delivered by email.
Each edition includes district news and events, photos, tips, employee achievements, health and safety information and more.
